Where It All Began
Long before there was a dream of owning an RV park or opening The Salt Cellar, there was a little girl learning what family, love, and resilience truly meant.
Some of my earliest and most treasured memories were made with my grandmother. She had a way of making everyone feel like they belonged, and her home was always filled with stories, laughter, and the simple traditions that brought our family together. One of those traditions was her collection of beautiful salt cellars. Every holiday, each family member had their own special salt cellar at the table—a small tradition that became one of my favorite memories.
She taught me that family isn't just about where you come from. It's about the people who show up, the memories you create together, and the legacy you leave behind.
Those lessons stayed with me long after childhood. They shaped the way I raise my family, the adventures we choose, and the dreams we're working toward today.
One day, I hope to honor her legacy by opening The Salt Cellar, an antique shop inspired by her love of collecting and the family traditions that made ordinary moments unforgettable.
The Road We Travel
Life rarely follows the path we imagine it will.
Like many families, we've experienced seasons of joy, uncertainty, heartbreak, and new beginnings. Every challenge has shaped who we are and reminded us that the things that matter most can't be measured by what we own, but by the memories we create and the people we share them with.
Over time, I realized I wanted to build something that could make a difference—not just for my family, but for others as well. I began writing children's books and creating learning resources for parents, sharing our adventures online, working as a UGC creator and affiliate marketer, and saying yes to opportunities that allowed me to keep learning and growing.
Phillip works incredibly hard to provide for our family, and together we've made a commitment to live intentionally. We save where we can, pay off debt, invest in our future, and choose experiences over excess whenever possible.
Every extra project I take on, every book I publish, every brand partnership, and every opportunity I pursue isn't just about earning more income. It's another step toward the life we're building together.
Our dream isn't something we're waiting to start someday.

Why We Chose This Life
People often ask why we chose a life that looks a little different.
The answer is simple.
We wanted more time together.
We wanted our children to grow up collecting memories instead of just things. We wanted to explore new places, learn through real-life experiences, and build a life around what mattered most to us—not what everyone else expected.
That doesn't mean life is always easy.
My husband works hard in the wind industry, often taking us wherever his job is needed. While he provides for our family, I use that flexibility to pursue the creative work I love. I write children's books, create educational resources for parents, work on my fantasy novel, partner with brands as a UGC creator, and earn through affiliate marketing. Every project I take on teaches me something new and brings us one step closer to the future we're building.
Together, we're intentional about how we live. We save, pay off debt, travel whenever we can, invest in experiences, and celebrate the small wins along the way. We know that big dreams aren't built overnight—they're built through thousands of small choices made consistently over time.
This journey isn't about having the perfect life.
It's about building a meaningful one.
Every road trip, every adventure, every page I write, every resource I create, every partnership I accept, and every dollar we save is helping us create the life we've always dreamed of.

The books I write, the learning resources I create, the brands I partner with, the stories I share online, the fantasy novel I'm pouring my heart into, the places we explore, and the financial goals we're working toward all have one purpose—they're helping us build the future we've dreamed about for years.
One day, we hope to own an RV park where families can slow down, reconnect, and make memories that last a lifetime. A place where kids can spend their days exploring outside, parents can relax around a campfire, and every visit feels like coming home.
Alongside that dream is another one that's been with me since I was a little girl.
