After our first contact, you’ll receive an initial email at the address you provided. Inside, you’ll find a questionnaire link that gathers the starting information I need to plan your family travel experience — including traveler names and ages, travel dates, budget, destination preferences, and the types of activities, accommodations, and travel styles you enjoy. 

 Once I receive your completed form, I will begin researching your destination and the types of activities your family is interested in. Typically, we will schedule your official consultation within 72 hrs. The consultation will be a minimum of 30 minutes up to an hour. During this consultation, we will go over what I have found that you are most interested in. I can then personalize the best vacation. 

 After the consultation, I will begin crafting your personalized family vacation. If I have any questions or need additional details, I’ll reach out using your preferred contact method. My goal is always to provide options that align closely with your preferences from the very beginning, and I’m more than willing to make adjustments to ensure we create the perfect trip for you. You can expect to receive three quoted itinerary options, typically within 48 hours. 

After you’ve explored your options and selected your adventure planning package, I’ll send all necessary travel and permission forms for you to complete and sign. These forms allow me and my suppliers to process payments and finalize your family travel reservations for your upcoming vacation.

Within 72 hours of booking, you’ll receive confirmations for all reservations along with your full itinerary, making your adventure planning seamless. And don’t worry — you’re never on your own! I’ll be available by phone or email before your trip, during your travels, and until you arrive safely back home after exploring new horizons with your family travel plans.

As you embark on your adventure planning and prepare for your family travel, check your passport validity at least six months before your travel date. Each country you wish to explore new horizons in may have different requirements and could necessitate a passport or visa on arrival. Be sure to secure any required visas for a smooth vacation.

When adventure planning for family travel within the US, it’s important to remember that you now need to have a travel identification (the star on your license or ID) to fly domestically. Be sure to have a physical copy or a US passport before you embark on your vacation to explore new horizons.

We require card authorization prior to any purchases related to your adventure planning. This includes an authorization form, a separate signed document detailing what you are authorizing, and a copy of your photo identification. For any new add-ons or changes to your family travel plans, additional forms must be submitted to ensure the protection of both you and our business as you explore new horizons during your travel and vacation.

As part of our adventure planning, we strive to stay informed about local laws and advisories, including weather and health updates for the countries or regions you will be traveling to. We keep you, our client, updated so you can explore new horizons with confidence. However, it remains your responsibility to be aware of the laws and advisories in the places you are visiting during your family travel or vacation.

 While my core services are compensated through supplier commissions from your vacation bookings, creating customized itineraries requires time, expertise, and thoughtful planning. If the first three itinerary options are not what you’re looking for, I’m happy to continue refining your plans and presenting additional choices at an additional $25 for every three more quotes after the initial three to ensure mutual respect for the time invested.

Additionally, we assist with activity planning and booking through our trusted suppliers, so you can enjoy a seamless vacation. We handle the bookings, communicate with the properties, find activities to help you explore new horizons, and set you up with travel insurance, among many other things. If any issues arise, we work hard to resolve them before they become larger problems. Our goal is to ensure you have the best family travel experience possible, while we take care of all the details so you don’t have to worry about a thing during your vacation.

I have three years of experience in the travel industry, specifically in adventure planning. I worked as a travel agent for Xanterra at the Grand Canyon Railway, where I gained valuable insights into the hotel industry, starting from housekeeping and advancing to mid-management. Additionally, my experience includes planning vacations for family travel with family and friends over the years, even before I opened my own business to help others explore new horizons.

This is especially important for families who are adventure planning to explore new horizons. Coverage will depend on the company you choose and the packages they offer.

It can help cover your losses or the fees associated with cancellation, allowing you to explore new horizons without worry. Before finalizing your booking for family travel or any vacation, we will review the fees and cancellation policies with you.
